On Wednesday 29th of November we received reports from users of the PDS web software that the report controls that are used for selecting parameters for reports, as well as navigating and saving reports, were not appearing correctly in both Chrome and Firefox browsers. While there was no interruption of service with this issue, some users did experience difficulty in generating reports initially, as the reports still functioned normally, but the icons for the controls were replaced by a box. Clicking on this box would activate the icon functionality.
Our development team reviewed the application and concluded that a recent update to the report control software had introduced the error. Changes were made to the code to accommodate the update, and the fix was released to Production on Friday the 1st of December.
