This afternoon our hosted server infrastructure suffered a network outage which caused an outage to the PDS Software.
The failure was due a software bug in the clustered firewall systems of our service provider. This caused the cluster to stop passing traffic.
The outage started at 2.05pm (AEDT) and was fully resolved at 2.25pm (AEDT) for a total of 20 minutes.
CORRECTIVE ACTIONS
These systems are scheduled for replacement during upcoming planned maintenance.
