The order of the hierarchy can be seen in the left slider menu in all modules. Only Power Users have access to edit the order of the equipment hierarchy.
To edit the hierarchy, navigate to Administration > Configure > Hierarchy > Equipment Hierarchy.
Navigate through the Equipment Hierarchy until you find what needs to be edited. It may be at the Group, Department or Area level.
Click and hold on the item (using the left mouse button), and drag up or down as required. The new position needs to be above or below an existing item, not on top of it. A black line will appear to indicate the mouse button can be released.
When returning to the navigation menu, be sure to click on the refresh icon next to Asset Management to show the changes.
