Understanding the Wear Report Terminology

There are a number of terms used in the Wear Profile and Trend Report, Belt Wear Detailed Report and the Wear Planning Board for calculations that may require some further explanation.

Scheduled Changeout (SC) - a planning date that is set in Asset Management against the corresponding equipment record. This is manually entered and is the date that the belt is planned to be changed. This date should be compared to the LC and RC dates to see how the forecast to actual changeout dates compare.

Lifetime Calculated Changeout (LC) - this date is generated by the software and is calculated using the critical alarm & all wear tests recorded over the lifetime of the asset.

Recent Calculated Changeout (RC) - this date is generated by the software and is calculated using the severe or critical alarm & the last X number of wear tests recorded on an asset, where X = Tests in Trend. The amount of Tests in Trend can be configured in Admin by a Power User for a whole site, or for individual conveyors.

Fixed Time Changeout (FT) - a fixed time replacement date, calculated using the installation date plus the replacement interval. It's used on the Belt Wear Detailed Report and the Wear Planning Board.
