The iPDS app is designed to automatically check the validity of wear results on consecutive wear tests, this feature helps users check entered results at data entry.
When adding/editing wear results, the associated result type is configured to determine whether the entered results should be getting smaller (minimum – example: thickness on belt sections, pulley lagging or liners) or increasing (maximum – example; apertures on screen panels or chain length) compared to same result on the previous test.
If an entered result fails to meet this criteria, a pop-up will appear asking the user to confirm if they would like to change the result to the previous result. Tap Yes to change to the previous result, or No to keep the current result.
